Being apart of a sorority is an amazing experience that will enrich your four years in college. Not only can joining a sorority facilitate leadership development and on-campus involvement, it also brings you dozens of life-long friendships.  I could write a book on why you should rush Alpha Sigma Tau, but I will keep it short and simple for you. At AST you get to be you. We are real and genuine and we don't want you to be anyone other than yourself. You get to have fun. Yes, we're serious about academics, leadership and community service, but all work and no play makes life dull. You get to forge and build a network that lasts a lifetime. Being in a NATIONAL sorority, makes building connections simple. The dozens of friendships that I mentioned earlier? Those don't end at college but more like stick with you forever. Finally, you are never alone. AST is not just about college. It's about the interests you share with other sisters and the stages in your lifetime where they will still be present. It's about your sisters being there for you, not only in these four years, but when you get married, when you go through a mid-life crises, when you have children, when you are sick, 50th anniversaries, etc. Whatever you'e going through, someone else is as well. If you love something, so does someone else.
